MR. GRANT AND THE EDUCATION BOARD.
TO THIS KDITOK. Sir, —At the Education Board meeting ou Tuesday the statements made re my traveling expenses were more a tissue of falsehood than anything else. It would have beer* decent to defer the matter in my enforced jsencc. Only those that have recently exerieuced the weather and the roads in ,oclney County have any idea of the effort I mile to be present. The expenses of a memar attending the Board meeting are similar ■> those of a witness attending the Supreme ourt. —lain, etc., Alex. Grant.
