The first conceit of the season of the Devonport Musical Society will be held this evening, when they will he assisted by the Auckland Licdertatel and members ot the Orcb' - tral Union. The usual entertainment at the Buns Club will take place this evening in til Masonic Hall. . The meeting of shareholders in the Norfolk Gold Mining Company will be held, in the New Zealand Insurance building on the 31st inst. at '2.30 p.m., and that of the Orlando Gold Mining Company at the same place, at 11 a.m. on the same date. There will be no practice of the Auckland Orchestral Union until the '27th inst. The ordinary general meeting of the Auckland Gas Company will be held at the company's office, ham-street, on the 28th inst., at three o'clock. A grand concert, tendered by Professor Carl Schmitt to the Young Men's Christian Association, will be held to-morrow evening in the rooms of that institution.
