MISSING FRIENDS.

The following persons, who loft the United Kingdom for Australia, or were last heard of in these colonies, are inquired for in Lloyd's Weekly London Newspapers of May 14 and May 21, the editor of which has the addresses of the inquirers. Persons who discover their friends through this republication are requested bo acknowledge tho fact when writing to the editor of Lloyd's. H. Phillips left London for New Zealand. Hi 3 niece (Betty Wyskoch) asks. George Norton, carpenter and builder, left St. Pancras in 1842. In October, 1881, was in New Zealand. Ho had lived with a Maori chief ab Waipatu, near Hawke's Bay. His only sister (Kate) seeks him. John Prentice left Burham, Kent, and sailed in the William Daivey for New Zealand, on January 1, 1874. Ho is now believed to be in the Wellington district. Brother Fred, wants to trace him. Smith : Robert Mitford Smith is anxious to find his brothers — William Bruce and John Wallace Smith—who left Liverpool in 1852 for Australia, supposed to have gone to Ballarat; also George Smith, who left Liverpool for Melbourne about 1868, and was in New Zealand about 20 years ago. Fred. Willcock has not been heard of Binco he left his brother Edwin in Ruanui, Crewhon, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, early in 1890. He is supposed to have gone to New South Wales, and to have been seen in Bathurst in October, 1890. His poor mother is very anxious ; his last letter to her was dated December, 1889. Henry Grirawood, left Semer, Suffolk, with a friend, Nab. Barton, in 1863, for Timaru, Canterbury, New Zealand. His son, Harry, has lost all trace of him since 1873. John Isaac Ost, enlisted in the 18th Royal Irish (2nd bat.) in 1859, at Wicklow, joined the regiment at Curragh, and went out to New Zealand at the time of tho war with the Bushmen. Sister Annie is anxious for tidings. Isabella Rebecca Randell, emigrated to New Zealand in the ship Ellon Denny, August, 187.1; arrived salely at Wellington, November, 1873. Sister Elizabeth has had no news since 1884. Thomas Bourne, of Goldstone, Ash, Sandwich, lefb home for New Zealand in June, 1874; after working for a Mr. Holt in Napier, Hawke's Bay, he loft for Fiji Islands in 1875. His mother has not since heard of him. ( . Thomas Mills, of Boxley Heath, Kent, has not been heard of for nearly "six years, supposed may have gone to New Zealand. Sisters Jemima and Emmainqure. (Father is dead). Robert Hamilton Tudhope, of Strathavon, Lanes., was last heard of from Christchurch, New Zealand. His brothor William asks. (Letters addressed returned unclaimed). Henry and Harriet Nickless were lasb heard of in July, 1883, from Hokitika, New Zealand. Their nephew (Charles Grey) inquires. James Alexander P.eid was last known to be living in Taranaki, New Zealand. Sister Isabella wishes for news.
