THE FRENCH FORGERY.

Norton has confessed to forging the documents said to have been stolen from the British Embassy, but says he was instigated by Ducret, one of the directors of Cocarde. The latter, how* ever, denies Norton's statement, and declares he had nothing to do with the forgeries.
