If the steamer arrangements admit of the New Zealand Rugby Union team returning from Australia via Auckland, the representative match Auckland v. .Wellington will be played in the former city on the team returning to the oolony. t The proposal is that the local Union shall send to Auckland sufficient men, who, with Wellington's representatives in the New Zealand team,: will be sufficient to form a team. As soon as the steamer arrangements are , known the Wellington Union will 1 negotiate ' with the Auckland Union. . Bayley and Macintosh pay their own expenses with the football team.
