THE COLONIAL MUTUAL.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday, The annual meeting of the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society was held in Melbourne yesterday. A cablegram which has been received states that the report presented by the directors showed very satisfactory results for last year., The number of new policies issued was 3576, assuring the sum of £1,148,940. The total funds now exceed one million and a-half pounds, and the annual income is over £400,000. Unanimous and enthusiastic approval was expressed at tho advance in the business of the society.
