Corporation Notices. "TMSVONPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL. ATERWORKS T OAN op £15,000, AT 51- PER CENT. IN DEBENTURES OF £100 EACH, REDEEMABLE IST JUNE, 1913. Authorised by the Ratepayers of the Borough under tho Municipal Corporation Act, ISBO, the Security offered for the Loan is as follows, namely :— (a) Plant of the Waterworks and Site. (6) Profit arising from Supplying Water. (c) Special Rate of Niuepence (9d) in the Pound on the annual value of all Ratable Properties in the Borough. The National Bank of New Zealand (Limited), as tho Bankers of the Borough Council of Devonport, are empowered to negotiate the sale of £15,000, in ivoentures as above, which are payable to L 0 rer on Ist June, 1013, at the National Dank of N. 1 iv Zealand (Limited), Auckland. 2. Interest at the rate of &i per cent, accruing from June Ist, 1803, payable by coupon on Ist December and Ist June in every year at the National .Bank of New Zealand (Limited), Auckland. 3. Tenders In tho Application Form annexed to Prospectus will bo received by the National Bank of New Zealand (Limited), until two o'clock on MONDAY, the 29th May, 1893, and will then be opened in tho presence of the Manager of the Bank and Mayor and Two Councillors of the Dovonport Borough Council. 4. Tho Council reserve the right to decline anv tender or tenders, and in that event the deposit money paid with any tender so declined shall be forthwith returned to the person entitled. ft. Payments from applicants will be required as follows, viz.:—£s per cent, on application, and the balance within 10 davs after notice of Allotment. Allotment. TUESDAY, May 30, 1.393. 0. The Debentures will bo allotted to the highest tenderers, provided the prices offered be not below £100 for each £100 Debenture. If total amount of tenders exceed the sum of £15,000 a pro rata allotment will be made. 7. In case of partial allotment of Debentures to any applicant, the full amount of deposit paid by such applicant shall be applied in part payment of the value of Debentures allotted ; the balance of the value shall bo paid within 10 days from date of allotment, or the deposit paid shall be forfeited to the Council. 8.
