Christoiiuhou, Wednesday. A SPECIAL meeting of the University Senate was held to-day, for the purpose of considering the reports of examiners in England for the University examination of 1892. The following resolutions were passed, after consideration of the reports embodying the results of the examinations for degrees, honours, and senior scholarships, in continuation of the results which have been already published this year :— That the degree of Master of Arts be conferred on the following :—Elsie Shrewsbury, Auckland College, with Ist class honours in political science; E. That the degree of Doctor of Science bo conferred on Charles Chilton, M.A., Port Chalmers.

That the degree of Doctor of Laws be conferred on J. G. Findlay, LL.B., Palmerston South.
