Sir,As a parent, I'am at a loss, and have been for years, to understand the policy of the management and governors. > 1 see that they have dismissed Mr. Watkins from the position of drawing-master,—pray, for what reason? That Mr. Watkins was a competent teacher, and that his pupils were doing excellent work under him, I am fully convinced from what I have seen with my own children therefore, to myself and others this new departure is inexplicable. When some institutions get into a state bordering upon demoralised indifference,not to say a striking deficiency in powers of organisation —it were well to have a stirring up of the dry bones.
