Lord Onslow, speaking at Guildford, referred to the Premier of New Zealand as once being an itinerant vendor, the Minister of Defence as a working miner, and the Minister of Lands as a shepherd, yet fully impressed with the responsibilities of their positions, and anxious to do their duty in administering the affairs of part of the Empire.
