We respectfully suggest to FRUITGROWERS the desirability of giving this method a fair trial, feeling assured that an advantage will accrue by so doing. We therefore recommend UNIFORM CASES, containing about 401b each of Apples, Pears, Quinces, ordinary Peaches and Tomatoes, Lemons and Passion Fruit. cases of about 261b for Gooseberries, Plums, Apricots and Nectarines. The only exceptions to the above being Grapes, Cherries, Hothouse Tomatoes and Nuts, for which we recommend small, shallow boxes of 10lb to 121b, and sold at per lb.
