JUBILEE CONVALESCENT FUND.
[by telegraph.—press association.] Donedin, Friday. At the annual meeting of the subscribers to the Jubilee Convalescent Fund, the report showed that 26 persons had been assisted. The expenses had been slightly over £38. A suggestion that some men should be appointed members of the committee was disapproved of, as being against the constitution under which the fund was established.
