The Northern Steamship Company's steamer Clansman arrived from Russell and Northern ports yesterday morning with a number of passengers, and a quantity of kauri gum and sundries. She left for Tauranga in the evening, and returns early tomorrow morning. The barque Natal Queen arrived in harbour from Newcastle yesterday with a cargo of coal Captain Andrews reports sailing on the 14th instant, and had light northerly winds until reaching the North Cape on the 24th. Down the coast light, baffling winds prevailed. The steam-tug Te Aroha picked up the barque outside, and berthed ner at the Railway Wharf to discharge. Early yesterday morning the steam-tug Eagle towed the brig Vision into port. It is some years since the vessel has visited here, she having been employed in the timber trade between Kaipara ana Australia. On the present occasion the vessel comes from Port Kembla, with a cargo of coal for the Colonial Sugar Refining Company.
