GALE AT WELLINGTON.
* _ BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION. 1 Wellington, Saturday. The fiercest northerly gale experienced for ?ome years was raging all last night. Fences, hoardings, windows, etc., have been nuch damaged, and some of the boats in larbour were knocked about. Neither coating nor cricket season can be opened. Wellington, Sunday. The strong north-west gale which set in an Friday night continues, but rain has passed away.
