The Onehunsa Horticultural Society's Spring Show will be held on Saturday, l»th November. The Sisters of Mercy Bazaar opens to-night in the Agricultural Hall. The Very Rev. Father Paul, V.6., will declare the bazaar open, and a large attendance is expected. In the advertisement in Saturday's issue announcing the concert and dance of the Protestant Alliance to be held in St George's Hall, Newton, the date, Thursday, the 20th instant, was inadvertently omitted. The popular annual musical audi elocutionary four evenings' competition of the ! Auckland Band of Hope Union will take place at the Foresters' Hall, Newton, commencing on Monday evening next. The competition will be engaged in by over 150 contestants in j reciting, singiuir, music, and, in various novelties. . ~ . ', ,
