On Tuesday, Sept. 6, the meeting of the Baud of Hope was held in the Wesleyan Church) Mr. Morgan presided. The meeting was opened with praise and prayer, after which the following programme was rendered, viz.Recitation by Miss Nellie Long ; solo by Miss Martin; recitation by Miss Annie Jessup ; hymn 136 recitation by Miss Helen Allison ; solo by Miss M. Buttimore ; recitation by Miss Annie Carter ; hymn 24 ; reading by Miss Buttimore; trio by Misses Long, Nellie Long, and M. Buttimore; recitation by Cissy Cornthwaite ; hymn 43; recitation by Miss S. Sharp ; recitation by Mr. W. J. M. Cornthwaite; recitation by Mr. J. Long; hymn 91 ; recitation by Henry Sharp ; recitation by Willie Cuthbert ; and a reading by the chairman. The Benediction brought a very pleasant evening's entertainment to a close. Miss M. Buttimore presided at the organ, and Miss J.
