THE COLONIAL BANK.
[by telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION.] Ddnedin, Friday. TriE thirty-sixth report of the directors of the Colonial Bank, states that the net profits for the half year, after the usual provisions were £18,149 9s 4d. After adding the balance brought forward, and deducting the tax on note circulation, there is available £24,626 7s Id, which the directors recommend to be applied as follows :To the reserve fund, £2500 ; to the payment of a dividend of 7 per cent, on the paid-up capital, £14,000 ; balance to be carried forward, £8120 7s Id. Mr. R. Oliver is the retiring director.
