ACCIDENT TO THE GOVERNOR.
[BT TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, Friday. On Wednesday night the Governor tripped on a carpet in the dress circle of the Opera House, and sustained a heavy fall, resulting in a severe shaking and a badly-cut leg. His Excellency has been confined to his room since, but is about again this afternoon.
