Since the launch was purchased by them, she has been thoroughly overhauled, and has been cleaned and painted throughout. The boiler has been lifted and overhauled, and supplied with a new bed. She has been fitted with a new covering board, new bulwarks, stanchions, and enginehsu3e. All the linings, bulkheads, and coalbunkers have been renewed, while the whole of the cargo space has been converted into a comfortable cabin, 16 feet long, while the after cabin has been altered and painted. The Vivid will be used as a plea-sure-boat during the holiday season, and will assist the Dispatch in towing and general harbour work. She will prove herself a useful boat for the work in which she i 3 to be engaged, and is to be hoped that her enterprising owners will reap a handsome return for their outlay.
