BOARD OF EDUCATION.
A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Auckland Board of Education was held yesterday afternoon. Present; — Messrs. Luke (chairman), Udy, Muir, Buckhurst, Grant, and Cooper. School Committee Elections. —The correspondence connected with the disputed School Committee elections was read, objections having been lodged that certain informalities had taken place, and it wa3 decided to ask the chairman of the householders' meeting to forward the ballot papers to the Board to be recounted. Consideration of objections to elections in other districts was deferred pending receipt of further information. The Raglan Committee was completed by the appointment of Messrs. A. Bay, J. Campbell, and E. Frissell. In regard to the Rangiriri, where the householders also failed to return a full committee, it was resolved to ask Mr. Kensington to suggest the names of four gentlemen for appointment.
