In Stewart Island, New Zealand (according to an Australian contemporary) no alcoholic drinks are sold. The inland is a temperance land, and the inhabitants are as a rule averse to a license to soil liquor being allowed to anyone. "We ore aware of a number of cases," says the Australian Cordial Maker, "in which persona afflicted with alcoholic neurosis—the nervous craving for drink—found a safe refuge in the beautiful island of the South. No pleasanter spot on earth could be found than Stewart Island, which is beautiful beyond description, and enjoys a climate on an average five degrees warmer than the mainland of southern New Zealand." Messrs. Reynolds and Co., Limited, have appointed the London Dairy Co. sole agents for the sale locally of their Anchor brand butter, from whom it may now be obtained in any quantity. Ask for it and see that ; you get it.
