It is satisfactory to note that notwithstanding the holiday on Tuesday, there was not a single case of drunkenness at the Police Court yesterday morning. There were several cases heard at the Police Court, but none of the holiday makers appear to have got into the slightest trouble. _ Tenders for iron castings' are invited by the stores manager of the Railway Department, Wellington.
