KAURI GUM MARKET. The following is the report of the > gum market and ruling quotations, as furnished to us by the committee of gum merchants : — Ordinary ... £46 to £47 Poor ordinary £32 to £40 East Coast £78 Supplies from Ist instant to date, 560 tons. Superior lots, unpicked and extra cleaned, are worth from £50 and upwards, according to quality and degree of cleaning. Prices for ordinary erum are lower. Superior ordinary, from £50 upwards, continues in good demand, also East Coast.

LIVE STOCK & PRODUCE MARKETS. KAKARAMEA. Messrs. Nolan, Tonks, an*d Co.'s Stock Report.—Our usual monthly sale was held at Kakaramea, yesterday. here was a good muster of both cattle and sheep, most of which was disposed of. We quote : Mixed yearlings, £1 15s to £2; yearling; steers, £2 10s; two-year-old steers, £3 53; two and a-half-year-old steers, £3 14s; three-year-old bullocks, £4 ss; fat heifers, £3 18s to £4; cows, £3 103 to £3 12s 6d ; cows and calves, £4 ss. Sheep : Ewes in lamb, 12s Id ; woolly lambs, '3. johnsonville> JOHNSON VILLE. Messrs. Freeman* R. Jackson and Co.'s Johnsonville stock report (by telegraph, on Wednesday) : — Fat cattle were equal to requirements, and sold steadily at 15s Gd the 1001b. Sheep were in usual numbers, and were rather easier. The quality was second class only. Halfbred wethers made 12s 3d to 12s lOd, others 14s 9d ; fat owes, 13s. Pigs were in average muster, and still remain dull of sale. Light baconers, 20s to 275; porkers, 12s 3d to 17s 3d; good stores, 6s 3d to 9s } smaller, 3s to 3s 9d.
