Tho usual fortnightly social of the Caledonian Society was held in tho Foresters Hall, Newton, yesterday evening. Dancing was commenced shortly after eight o'clock, and was continued until eleven. Considering the heavy downpour there was a very good attendance. Any respectable Dr. Boniface will put you in a position to start again by prescribing Kitchens' Celebrated Blood Restorer ana lemonade or soda. Try it; the safest and speediest "pick-me-up."
