WINDSOR MURDERER.

Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.

Melbourne, May 18. The authorities have decided not to allow Deeming's brain to be examined, and it will be buried with the body. London, May 17. The grounds of the petition which will be presented to the Privy Council in Deeming's case are the character of the medical evidence tendered at the trial in Melbourne, and the affidavits made by the condemned man's brother and sister-in-law as to his sanity. Deeming's petition will be presented to the Privy Council on Wednesday and heard on Thursday. Two barristers have been retained to appear in support of the petition, a copy of which has been sent to Lord Knutsford, and to argue that respite should be granted the condemned man. Lord Hopetoun says there is nothing to justify delay in Deeming's execution, hut Mr. Lylo is preparing a further petition.
