CAPTURE OF BOLIVAR.
THE GOVERNMENT GENERAL MURDERED. Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.— New York, May 17. The Venezuelan insurgents, under General Gil, are reported to have occupied Bolivar. Kodel, the Government General, was so incensed at the fall of Bolivar that he ordered the execution of six officers of the Government army. In consequence of this order the comrades of the condemned revolted,shooting Kodel, and afterwards decapitating him.
