[BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN" CORRESPONDENT.] Wellington, Wednesday. MINISTERIAL MOVEMENTS. The Hon. .Mr. KcKenzie, Minister of Lands, returned to Wellington this morning from the South. It is stated by one of the local papers that Sir Robert Stout had an interview with the Minister of Lands, but no particulars have been allowed to transpire THK COMING OF THE GOVERNOR. The Rimutaka arrived here this morning. She brings, as part of her cargo, a large quantity of luggage belonging to the Ear! of Glasgow. FRUIT GROWING. Mr. Hanlon has returned from the Wairarapa. The Premier telegraphed to the AgentGeneral to obtain some information .as to ihe real intention of General Booth to send a detachment of the "submerged tenth New Zealand. No reply has been receive 1 from Mr. Perceval. The Premier supposes that some unavoidable delay must have taken place in seeing the General. The cabled intelligence is discredited by the result of interviews had with the Salvation Army authorities in Wellington. They say that if General Booth had any such intention as that attributed to him ho would have sent intimation to the adjutants of local forces to make preparation for the reception of those who might be sent here from " headquarters.'' No communication has been received from the General or his son.
