THE MYRA KEMBLE SEASON.

Miss Myra Kkmble and her Comedy Company left Oisborne yesterday morning at ten o'clock per Manapouri, and are thus expected to arrive this forenoon. We shall, therefore, have an opportunity of seeing the company this evening in the farcical comedy, " Dr. Bill," which ran for such long seasons in .Melbourne and Sydney and lately in the southern cities of this colony. The cast of the play appears in this issue, and a glance at it reveals the strength of the company supporting Miss Myra Keinble. The very high praise given to Miss Ketnbie as an actress by the English press is only an endorsement of the reputation which she had previously made in the colonies and has maintained since her return. "Dr. Bill" is a farcical comedy by Hamilton Aide, and was produced in London at the Avenue Theatre by Mr. Alexander. It is intensely funny, and fulfils its mission of evoking hearty laughter, the plot turning upon the troubles of Dr. William Brown through resuming practice after his marriage in the same set where he was previously known as a young bachelor. His wife and his mother-in and father-in-law are all mixed up in the complications which Mrs. Horton (Miss Myra Kemble) brings about in a mischievous way. As it will be admirably mounted there is every reason to suppose that "Dr. Bill" will afford as much pleasure to the public here as it has done elsewhere. Many seats have been booked, so that Miss Kemble is assured of a hearty reception on her appearance this evening. ________
