MEETING OF THE BANDS ASSOCIATION.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] Dunkdin, Friday. A meeting of the Bands' Association held today was attended by delegates from seventeen bands The report and balance sheet were adopted, and tho whole of the officebearers re-elected. The contest rules were amended so as to confine contests in future to purely brass bands, and a number of minor alterations were made in the rules of the Association. It was decided to obtain a list of selections from Wright and Hound for tho coming contest, tho date of which was left in the hands of the Wellington committee. It was decided to procure a challenge cup, to bo held by the winner of future contests.
