Lord Rosebery will contest the East Finsbury seat for the London County Council. . Later. The approaching London County Council elections are creating great interest. The Progressive party are delighted that Lord Rosebery has consented to stand for East Finsbury seat. A large meeting of the Moderate party was held at St. James's Hall, Sir Henry James presiding. Resolutions were passed denouncing the administration of the present County Councils. Both sides are exhibiting tremendous energy in the contest, and neither party is leaving a stone unturned to secure a majority of seats.
