The Mikado is a composite vessel, teak with iron rame, built in 1808 at liotherhithe, England', iheathed with yellow metal on felt at Liverpool, in 1886; classified A 1 at Lloyds for 12 years from that late as per certificate; surveyed in November, 1853, it San fc'iancisco, by J. H. Bruce, and at Valparaiso n January, IS9O, by C. C. Jool, and certified in ;ood order, well equipped, fit to carry dry and per- 1 -liable cargo to any port in the world, with a re:ominendation to l.loyds "'that she be retained as :lassed." Draught, fully loaded, about 18 feet ; ;onnage, 643 tons.
