I claim to be the inventor of this process now in use, and which has enabled Flax Dressers to prodtnx a marketable article at a payable price, and thereby establishing an industry which has done, and now i doing, a great amount of good for our Colony. 1 havo. iu course of construction an improved H.* Machine, I invite those interests I to see before ordering any new .Machines. _ , I would also draw attention to my Patent Prom Dress*.", which is a simple and inexpensive Mucin, for dressing up the beater.-, on the drums now in use, and is exceedingly useful, saving tiles and getting the beaters oil the drums into a true state with a very few minutes' applicat on. I also make duplicate parts for all Flax Machines now in use, at lowest pricks. BOILER MACHINERY. Having made arrangements for the taking down of my Boiler-miking Plant at Mechanics' lUy. ai... its rejection in Stanley-street, and having, amongst other good Machinery, a powerful Steam BivotuinMachine I will shortly be in a position to execute orders for either Land or Marine Boilers of any dimensions of the latest and best construction, and I here again assure my customers that I will meet tin-, requirements of the times by giving the VERY BEST' OF MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP in all work that I undertake, at the lowest prices. MINING MACHINERY Is a department of our business which I have given special attention to. I MADE AND FITTED up THE FIRST STAMPER BATTERY ON THE THAMES GOLPFIELD, and with it the first SinghStunner with a large Berdan attached, for crushing specimens and testing small lots of quartz, which rilant was purchased from me by the Kuranui Gold Mining Company. Since then I have made and supplied many of the largest Battery plants erected on the Thames Goldfield and have the pattern of nil sized Stamper Batteries, llerdans, etc. \ \^su Fraser's Improved Grinding and Amalgamating Mill for Gold and Silver Ores, etc. But I would Hero specially call the attention of all who are interested in our nolHcMs to my improved Milling Machinery, viz. : — FRASER'S PATENT IMPROVED CONTINUOUS GRINDING AND AMALGAMATING MILL with my registered "Silent Central Overflow," for the treatment of gold and silver ores, which will save from 80 to 100 per cent, of the gold contained in the ore, and which, I feel sure, will supply the want long felt ill our goldtlelds (especially where poor oros exist, anil where lino crushing is absolutely required), n fact, a cheap method whoroby the gold and silver can be separated anil saved from the raw ore. By the adoption of this Mill the necessity for Copper Plates, Blanket Tables, ami lletdans, with the expensive attendants, are not required, and are entirely dispensed with. It also does away with the necessity for tailing pits and the labour attached to the emptying of them, etc. A Battery of five stamps (say Bcwt each) and two oft Continuous Grinding Mills, fitted with my registered Silent Central Overflow'and the Patent Syphon and Cup for quicksilver, attached, is capable of reducing from twelve to fifteen tons of ordinary quartz in twenty-four hours to a degree of fineness far surpassing any P.erdan crushing and without any loss of quicksilver. The Stamper Box should he placed quite close to the Mills discharging direct into them, I lie scieens on Stamper Box do not require to bo flnor than J.inch mesh, as the Mill quite easily reduces from that | size to the greatest degree of fineness necessary. The lip of overflow is 103 inches in circumference, which allows of a large quantity of water being used without the danger of carrying away tho fine gold. Each Mill is charged with from 1001b to I.lolb quicksilver, and by using the Syphon and Cup, which is attached to the bottom of the Mill, the manager or superintendent can draw off at any time, without e stopping the Mill, 80 per cent, of the quicksilver, and squeeze the amalgam therefrom and return tho y silver to tho Mill (an easy matter compared to cleaning up Copper Plates and attending to Blanket [} Tables). The Syphon can bo boxed in anil kept under lock and key. ? I HERE, WITHOUT HESITATION, STATE THAT MY IMPROVED MILL WILL REDUCE DOUBLE THE QUANTITY OF RAW ORE Oil TAILINGS TO THE GREATEST DEGREE OK FINENESS AND SAVE MORE GOLD THAN ANY MILL OR PAN I KNOW OF. I cordially invite all Mine and Battery Owners anil Managers to call at our WORKS, STANLEYSTREET, where they can see the Mill at work, and judge for themselves. I am prepared to provide plans and give estimates of the cost of erection of simple, cheap, and effective Plants suitable for our golilfields. TESTING PLANT. . 1 have erected at the WORKS, ST ANT. BY BT, a COMPLETE TESTING PLANT. WITH )n LABORATORY attached, whore all ores to be treated aro first crushed dry and passed through a half noh riddle, from which samples are taken, and assays made, and the value of the ore ascertains , beforo to tis put into tho Mill, thus finding out the true percentage of gold saved by any appliances. - (J EOR G E pRASE E, y* PHCENIX FOUNDRY, int ' Stanley-Street, A.TJCIZLA.ND.
