CHARGE OF EMBEZZLEMENT.
IBY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION. J CiißisTCiiuncir, Friday. Frederick Davigs, secretory of tho East Oxford School Committee, was committed for trial yesterday, on four charges of embezzling the incidental funds of tho committee. His plan was, it is alleged, to alter tho values of tho cheques after they had been signed, and he is said to have made about £18 by this.
