Foley, M.P. for Connemara, was summoned by the Wandsworth Guardians for refusing to pay for the support of his wife, who is in the workhouse. The case was adjourned. THE GRAND VIZIER DISMISSED. Constantinople, September 3. The Grand Vizier has been dismissed. AN EXAMPLE FOR BANKRUPTS. London, September 3. P. F. Slavin, the Australian pugilist, who was recently declared bankrupt, has paid his creditors in full, with 4 per cent, interest, and an application to have the bankruptcy annulled has been granted.
