THRIFT V. FALSE ECONOMY.
" Nothing is cheap that you don't want," is a well-worn but very true axiom, and it is equally true that nothing is cheap that is not good and safe to use. No thrifty housewife will buy or use the common low-' test kerosenes, which burn away quickly, emit a disagreeable odour, and above all are highly dangerous from their susceptibility to explode at any moment without warning. The new illuminant " Luxe?ie"~ the most powerful, economical, and safest light known —is free from all the above objections, being of the highest test, non-ex-f losive, and emitting no smell when in use. t is water white in colour, and is thus easily distinguishable from the cheap low-test kerosenes with which the market is contantly flooded. Ask for " Luxene and see that you get it.
