The annual meeting of the Lily of the Valley Female L.0.L., No. 2, took place in the lodge-room, Protestant Hall, Newton, last night. The report and balance-sheet showed the lodge to be in n flourishing condition. The following officers were elected : —Miss E. J. Taylor, president; Mr?. Taylor, vice-president; Miss Brown, secretary ; Miss Gardiner, treasurer; Miss Harrison, inner guard. Hearty congratulations to the lodge were expressed by the R. W.G.M., and the delegate of the Orange Lily Female L.0.L., No. 1 (Wellington), who was also present.
