The Neue Freie Press declares that if France buys Russia's friendship by conniving at the destruction of the most necessary clause of the Treaty of Paris, Europe is on the eve of very serious complications, for the Great Powers are unanimous in their determination to resist such a course. London, September 2. The Times states if France wishes England to remain in occupation of Egypt, she should assist Russia to open the Dardanelles.
