The Town Council intends to present each ship of the French squadron with a piece of place, and each sailor with a cigar case. The officers will have to attend seventeen banquets. _ Admiral Gervais and suite are invited to a banquet at Moscow. It is asserted that the Czar is displeased with the exuberance of the welcome extended to the visitors. Paris, July 28 La Paix, in an inspired article, declares that the entente cordiale between France and Russia is perfectly cemented. The Czar and President Carnot have exchanged messages of friendship.
