MASONIC.
LODGE AHA, N.Z.C. The regular monthly meeting of Lodge Ara, N.Z.C, was held last evening at Freemasons' Hall, Princes-street, Brother Chapman, W.M., presiding. The principal business was the passing of an E.A. brother to the fellow craft degree. Other business was deferred, as the officers and brethren were anxious to visit Lodge Eden, to be present at the installation of officers. LODGE EDEN, N.Z.C. The first installation of officers of Lodge Eden since it gave in its adherence to the Grand Lodge of New Zealand, took place in the Masonic Hall, Karangahape Road, and there was n very large attendance of brethren and visiting brethren, amongst whom were the G.S. Brother M. Niccol and several Grand Lodge officers and Lodges Ara, St. Andrew, and Ponsonby attended as lodges. Brother Hardy, the 1. P.M., who has officiated as Master since the lodge joined the New Zealand Constitution, officiated as Installing Master, and he duly installed the W. M. elect, Brother Harry Robinson, who then proceeded to invest his officers as follows ;— Brothers W. S. Williams, S.W., W. J. ; Wright, J.W., G. P. Cox, treasurer, G. Hardy, P.M., secretary, W. Johnson, D.0., , P. Crowe, S.D., M. S. Laurie, J.D., F. Stenning, 1.G., B. Armitage, S.S., G. F. i Willis, J.S., J. Moore, tyler. The visiting brethren warmly congratulated the newly • installed Master and the lodge,-after which the lodgo was closed in form, and the , brethren adjourned to the upper room, where refreshments were provided.
