. ■ I 1 [BY telegraph.PßESS association.] Christchorch, Tuesday. The general meeting of the New Zealand Alpine Club was held, to-night. It was decided to admit members and subscribers. Twenty-seven members and four subscribers were elected. Mr. Leonard Harper was elected president, Captain Hutton (Christchurch), E. P. Sealy (Timaru), Malcolm Ross (Dunedin), J. H. Baker (Wellington) vice-presidents ; A. P. Harper secretary and treasurer.
