Berlin, July 25. , There has been a great rise in the price of corn in Germany, in consequence of the large purchases made by the Russian Government. - THE CANADIAN HARVEST. Ottawa, July 23. Fifteen thousand Canadian farmers have sent up -petitions to the Legislature, praying for remission of the taxes on sugar, salt, and other articles, owing to the harvest depression. Ottawa, July 25. The official estimate of the wheat crops in the north-eastern portion of the Dominion gives a yield of 21,000,000 bushels.
