Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.— London, July 24. Lord Herschell has been elected chairman of the Imperial Institute. The executive includes Lord Carrington, Sir F. J. Garrick, the Duke of Fife, and Lord Rosebery. The finance committee includes Mr. Lidderdale, Governor of the Bank of England, and Lord Rothschild.
