[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Wednesday. ' The Thames County Council received £562 2-: 4d as gold fields revenue for the quarter ending March 31sb last. At the monthly meeting of the Thames County-Council this evening a letter was recdived from Mr. H. Rabe, manager of the, Magnolia Gold Mining Company, requesting that certain repairs be effected upon Upper Richmond-street, leading from the company's low level, down to Sandesstreet, in order that quartz could be conveyed along the road to the battery, but the matter was referred to tho engineer to report at tho next meeting of the Board of Works. The Council resolved to co-operate with tho Paeroa and Te Aroha residents in endeavovring to get the £42,000 ear-marked vote for the Thames-Te Aroha Railway expended in constructing tho line from Te Aroha to Pacroa. »
