A POPULAR MEMBER.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —rKF.SS ASSOCfATION.] Oamaku, Tuesday. Mr. T. Duncan, M.H.R., was presented with a purse of 150 sovereigns'to-nighb in the Public Hall. There was ti crowded attendance, and Mr. W. J. Steward, Speaker of bho House, occupied tho chuir. The presentation wan nuido by Mr. Neil Fleming. Messrs. Seddon and Melvenzie were also prosenb, and addressed tho meeting. Tho proceedings were most enbhusiastic, and bho speakers were heartily recoived.
