London, April 29. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,836,000 quarters ; and for the Continent 1,948,000 quarters. The total number of bales of wool catalogued during the series was 284,000, of which 275,400 were sold. The number of bales taken for export was 160,000. Three months' bills are discounted at 3| per cent. London, April 30. The American visible wheat supplj is estimated at 36,100,000 bushels.

London, April 28. Wool. The sales closed ;..his day at the level of last sales, except superior greasy merino, superior scoured merino, and fine frreasy crossbred, which have advanced Jd per lb. Greasy crossbred lambs have advanced id per lb since the close of last sales. Superior greasy merino, faulty scoured, have declined £d per lb. The total quantity sold during the past gales i.3 274,000 bales, of which 146,000 bales have been taken for the continent, and 9000 bale 3 for America. lb is estimated thab 9000 bales have been held over for future disposal. Wheat.— The market is declining owing to favourable harvest prospects. There is little demand for the continent. Jlew Zealand wheat average and long berried is worth respectively 43s and 45s per 4961bs landed nominal value. New Zealand wheat f.a.q. to arrive iron ship, is worth c.i.f. 43s 3d per 4SOlb April bill of lading.
