Judging from the numbers present and the enthusiasm displayed the season gives every promise of being a very, successful one. Several new members have been added to the roll, and the name of Professor Carrollo as instructor is a sufficient guarantee for the efficient working of the club. The 'cyclists of the city have determined to hold a bicycle road race, over a course of ten miles or upwards, before the winter, sets in, and Messrs. W. Service and A. G. Buchanan are now actively making preparations for carrying out the project on Saturday, the 25th instant. The contest is to be open to all amateur riders.
