THE TE AROHA ELECTION.

[cy TF.IjEH RATir* —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Thames, Tuesday. Mr. Wit-mam Eraser has definitely decided to contest Te Aroha seat, and announces himself as a supporter of the present Government. Mr. G. S. Graham announced himself yesterday as a candidate for the Te Aroha seat, having been asked to stand by an influential number of electors. Mr. Graham is not entirely new to politics, for he was a member of the Auckland Provincial Council for many years, and his father long represented Newton in the General Assembly. Mr. Graham has also been largely identified with goldfields matters at the Thames, ami he has a large interest in the Pinko and Upper Thames, as well as in the Waikato districts, so that he will probably receive a large measure of support.
