London, April 4. The Ringarooma, one of the Australian cruisers, has completed a ten days' cruise, during which she gave every satisfaction. During the trial of her speed she averaged sixteen knots an hour for 24 hours.

A serious defect has been discovered in the shaft of the Boomerang, another of the cruisers, and it will take a fortnight to effect the necessary repairs.
