ROTORUA NEWS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Rotorua, Thursday. About twenty-five tourists arrived by coaches to-day from Oxford and Okoroire including Archdeacon Williams, Mr. Mar chessean (better known as " Mack," formerly a resident here for many years, and whc probably will again settle amongst us), aid several officers of the Austrian warship Saida. Mr. Karl shortly afterwards arrived in. the township, and afforded the latter a lot of useful information, which was highly appreciated. Mr. D. Griffiths is in receipt of a letter from the Governor, Lord Onslow, thanking him for two pictorial maps of North and South Islands presented by Mr. Griffiths Co His Excellency. Mr. W. Kelly, M.H.R., arrived from Rotoiti to-day. About fifty natives are expected to-morrow from Napier. They come on a visit ala the tourists. Preparations are being made by the Maoris here to entertain their guests suitably, .
