[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, Thursday. At a meeting of delegates of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Society to-day, a lengthy discussion on the Classification Act took place, and the following resolution was passed "'That this Conference desires to place on record its regret at its inability, through non-recognition of the society, to bring under the notice of the departmental authorities the many serious anomalies existing under the present classification scheme ; also to record a vote of thanks to the Press of the colony for their : ympathy."
